When the night did last
My hope was at stake
The darkness could not let
Mine eyes see
And the silence of the dark
Set my mind to think
Not of the scariness of the night
But of the beauty of the stars
Stars far away and tiny
And now the morning has come
I can’t help but savor the glory
The rekindled hope on my face
